- Q. What are Match.com Philippines's profile guidelines?

Our Customer Care team reviews each and every profile to increase your chances of meeting quality matches. We periodically revise our guidelines, so please refer to the Help pages for updates.
We may reject basic profiles that contain any of the following:- Abusive language of any kind, including vulgarity, racism, illegal activity, etc.
- Any direct contact information, including email addresses, URLs, ICQ/instant messenger IDs, phone numbers, full names, addresses, etc.
- Unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked material
- Business or political advertisements or solicitations
- Foreign languages (To effectively monitor profiles, we require our members to write in English)
- Material that exploits or solicits personal information from individuals under the age of 18
- Overt solicitation for sex or descriptions of sexual activity, anatomy, etc.
- Solicitation of multiple or additional partners
- Incarcerated individuals
- Individuals under the age of 18

- Q. Do I have to complete all of the sections of the profile to be able to do find people?

No, you can still do searches without a profile or completed profile; however, the more complete your free profile is, the more likely you are to find people and have others find you.

- Q. Why am I not getting very many responses?

If you don’t have a photo, add one today. Statistics prove that profiles with photos are up to 15 times more likely to receive attention than profiles without. Also be sure you're checking for responses at the email address you gave us when you signed up. If you're not receiving any responses at all, you may have a "Spamguard" in place that is preventing email from reaching you. Check with your service provider.

This feature lets you forward a member’s profile to a group of your friends. Ask them if you’ve found your match — or maybe a match for one of them.

If you don’t post your free profile, no one will know you're available. And if no one knows you’re available, you won’t ever receive emails or winks.

- Q. Why do I have to complete 'My Dating Intro' and 'My Dating Headline' if I'm not ready or don't know what to say in order to submit my profile?

In 'My Intro' the 'Describe yourself and who you'd like to date' and 'Dating Headline' are considered a part of your Basic Profile. You can always save as you go and come back later to complete these pieces of your Basic Profile, but you cannot post it and have others find you until they are complete. The 'Describe yourself and who you'd like to date' and 'Dating Headline' gives you a great opportunity to express yourself and tell others who you are in your own words.
