Your Daily5 matches are your best matches based on your personality-type, profile information and preferences. We do the work searching, you just do the choosing. It’s that simple.

- Q. How does Daily5 work?

Using your personality-type, profile information and preferences, we’ll search using our matching technology and present your best matches to you. All you have to do is check them every day and let us know if they sparked your interest. We’ll send the matches you’re interested in an introduction email letting them know they caught your attention. If none of your matches get your interest, that’s OK, too. We’ll learn from your choices and continue to serve you better matches.

- Q. Why do I have to have a profile to get Daily5 matches?

You need a profile because the Daily5 determines your best matches based on what you tell us. We must have a basis for the search. The more you tell us, the better matches we can present to you. For even better matches, take the personality test if you haven’t already (click here).

- Q. How will the personality test affect Daily5 matches?

The personality results will enhance your existing match.com profile by providing potential matches based on Dr. Helen Fisher’s 35 years of study into romantic love. Your profile will be extended to include this new information alongside your existing details, and visitors to your profile will be able to easily compare how compatible your two personality types are.

- Q. When do I get new matches?

You’ll get a new set of Daily5 matches within 24 hours after you’ve rated your last set of Daily5 matches. But remember to rate your matches! Rating your matches triggers the new search for qualified matches.

- Q. Why didn’t I get 5 matches?

Since these are highly qualified matches, we may not have found 5 great matches for you based on your profile and preferences. But don’t be discouraged by that. New members sign up daily so check back tomorrow to see if we’ve found more matches. Also, try updating your profile information and preferences. You can increase your likelihood of getting more matches with even small changes; increasing the age range by as little as one year can really broaden your options.

- Q. What happens if I select YES to “Do any of these members spark your interest?”

We will send an email to the members you are interested in to let them know they caught your attention.

- Q. What happens if I select NO to “Do any of these members spark your interest?

We’ll just remove that member from your Daily5. They won’t show up again in the matches we’ll serve you. And don’t worry, they will never know you weren’t interested.

- Q. What happens if I select MAYBE to “Do any of these members spark your interest?”

If you’re not sure about a Daily5 match yet, select “Maybe” and we’ll save them for you to check out again later. Find them in the “Your Maybes” section of your Daily5.

- Q. Many of these members are exactly who I’m interested in. How do I keep track of all my YESES?

You can access all the members who have sparked your interest in the “You’re Interested” section of your Daily5.

- Q. How many MAYBES can I save?

You can save 999 members in “Your Maybes” section and review them later. Once you’ve filled this section, you’ll have to remove some in order to add more.

You can save 999 members in the “You’re Interested” section. Once you’ve filled this section, you have to remove some in order to add more.

- Q. Who are the people in my “They’re Interested” section and why are they here?

Congratulations! These members saw you in their Daily5 and expressed interest in you! Take a glance through this list of members. Let us know whether they catch your attention clicking Yes, No, or Maybe. If someone sparks your interest, send them an email! Because they are already interested, chances are good you’ll get a response.

- Q. How much does it cost to get my Daily5?

Daily5 is FREE to match.com members, and does not require an extra paid subscription. However, you will need to be a subscriber in order to email or read email from other members you match with, and to find out whom else is interested in you.
