You can view your Personality Test results at any time by clicking on My Profile. Select the “My Personality Test Results” link.

The Personality Test Results will enhance your existing Match.com profile by providing potential matches with an added insight into who you are.
Based on our deep experience in building relationships, the Personality Test is designed specifically for single adults who are actively seeking meaningful, long-term connections.

The Personality Test is published on all Match.com International sites except Japan. In the United States the Personality Test is produced by our sister company, Chemistry.com.

To get more details about a person’s personality type, view the member’s profile and click through to the new “How You Match” page.
In a future version of our site, we will be offering the ability to conduct a search by personality type, but this feature is not currently available.

The Personality Test Results reveal insights about your Personality based on your responses to the Personality Test Questions. You can use the results to accomplish two things:
- Learn details about your personality type, including dating tips.
- Identifies the personality types of the kinds of people with whom you are most compatible.

- Q. Can I update my Personality Test Results?

The short answer is no because the test has been calibrated for accuracy by our Chief Scientific Advisor Dr. Helen Fisher.
Although we are unique individuals, people do seem to fall into broad general categories, types that even Plato and Aristotle recorded some 2,500 years ago. Dr. Fisher has named these four personality types as the Explorer, Builder, Negotiator and Director.
The questions on the test are designed to establish some of the basics of your brain and body chemical composition; which scientists now believe are associated with specific aspects of temperament and personality. We are all a vast mix of all of these chemical components, however, your responses help us measure to what extent your personality aligns with one of these four personality types.
